Expands edge color outward with a multi-scale blur stack, optional mask erode, and log-space handling for Nuke comps.
Edge Extrude spreads edge pixels outward using a cascade of box blurs at increasing sizes, each hard-masked on alpha and merged under the original. The result fills or extends edge color without a simple single blur halo.
Pipe the image in the main input. Optionally connect a mask and choose its channel; erode and invert control how far the mask is pulled in before the extrude runs. Size drives the blur stack; quality is shared across those blurs.
When Log is on, the plate is converted to Cineon for the extrude and back again, which keeps the edge push more stable on log plates. Use it to thicken edges, cover fringing, or rebuild missing edge detail before merges and keys.
